Product is seeking a Copywriter to bring big ideas to life in imaginative ways. As an accomplished writer, you have a passion for the craft of writing and are comfortable doing so across various styles and formats. You’re not afraid of digging into the details and going that extra mile to really understand a client’s business, as you know more than most, that words have power, and finding the right ones to convey exactly the right message can make the difference between a good campaign and an outstanding one. You should be comfortable translating business requirements into succinct, clear, and compelling copy for our clients, often in partnership with an Art Director for a brand campaign or similar creative initiative. The Copywriter will report into, and be mentored by, Product’s head of creative, who is a Partner in the firm. Articulate geniuses welcome!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create campaigns and experiences for world-class brands, where the work will be seen and used by large numbers of people. Innovative, elegant design that is loved by users is the goal for all our work.
- Be part of a team that creates compelling campaigns, products and services, mobile applications, websites, ecommerce and content experiences, and digital/physical installations (in-store digital; outdoor experiential, etc.).
- Hands-on copywriting, including the effective translation of strategic and conceptual thinking into creative manifestos, storyboards, copy guides, and copy outputs.
- Serve as an expert wordsmith and storyteller. A champion of big ideas and finding new, innovative solutions to old creative problems.
- Collaborate with Strategists, User Experience Designers, and Visual Designers to execute the copy portion of a campaign, product, or experience in creative and imaginative ways.
- Accountable for the quality of copy deliverables, ensuring that they meet Product’s standards for creative excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Stellar copywriting skills.
- 3+ years of professional experience in copywriting, with a robust body of work that demonstrates exceptional copy development across a variety of products, campaigns, experiences, and/or services.
- Thrive in an entrepreneurial, and quickly growing, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills when meeting with, and presenting to, senior clients and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Good presentation style and visual communication skills—you should be excited about your work and know how to spread that enthusiasm.
- Experience partnering with interdisciplinary teams to create products, experiences and campaigns that are both innovative and highly usable.
- Have a passion, desire, and proven ability to innovate.
